As of the 2nd October 2026, the grounds in Dalgan remain closed due to the ongoing felling of trees and the need to ensure the safety of all while this work continues.
A licensed contractor is onsite at the moment and is focused on some diseased ash trees.
We apologise to members of the public who like to walk in our grounds. This is necessary work to ensure the well-being of our woodlands and the environment around Dalgan.
The work is part of an integrated project of biodiversity and sustainability as well as long-term maintenance of Dalgan’s woodlands.
The entrance barrier will remain down blocking access to the grounds until this work is concluded. There are also signs at the entrance to Dalgan notifying the public of the temporary closure.
