In recent months and weeks we have seen the faces of people scarred by war, forced to leave their homes. As we begin the Advent season, in preparation for Christmas, you are invited to come together as part of an online community that cries out for peace in the face of so much war and destruction.
On Sunday 3rd December 2023, the Friends of Saint Columbanus in Ireland are organising an online Ecumenical Prayer Service for peace in the Middle East and Ukraine.
We are inviting all our Friends of St Columbanus to join us in prayer. The Service will take place on Zoom from 6pm to 6.45pm (GMT) 7pm – 7.45pm (European time).
The Service will be led by Bishop Denis Nulty of Kildare & Leighin. It will include prayers for peace from the Christian, Jewish and Islamic traditions.
We would like to invite you to participate. Please feel free to share a prayer for peace in your own language.
