The Columbans feature as one of the early bridge-builders between Korea and Ireland in this video.
It includes interviews with Columbans who served in Korea, tributes to the seven Columban martyrs who died in the Korean War (1950-53) as well as a visit to Dalgan and the recent Korean Festival 2025 in the Phoenix Park.
At the festival Frances Crowe’s beautiful tapestry depicting the seven martyrs was part of the display on the Columban Missionaries’ links with Korea.
