An Autumn Day in Dalgan

Join Dr John Feehan on Saturday 7th September 2019 from 9.30am – 4pm at the Columban Ecological Institute, St Columban’s, Navan, Co Meath for ‘An Autumn Day in Dalgan’.

‘Where have all the flowers gone? The wonderful – and unseen – world of seeds, berries and fruits.’

Our day begins with an introductory lecture, followed by exploration of the wonderful and unseen world of seeds, berries and fruits, in the grounds of Dalgan Park.

In the afternoon, we will look at our findings with the new eyes given to us by the microscope.

If you wish to attend, please contact Elizabeth Mc Ardle at [email protected]

Places for this day are limited and early booking is advised.

The cost is €20, payable on the day.

Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch. Suitable footwear and outdoor clothes are recommended, and the day will go ahead whatever the weather.
