China Church Solidarity (CCS) operates under the direction of Columban missionary Fr Eamonn O’Brien and aims to build bridges between the Catholic Churches of Europe and China.
Fr Eamonn first visited in China in 1979 and has been systemically working with the Church in China since 2000.
CCS was set up in 2019 and continues the work of Cultural Exchange with China (CEC), the former name for this website and a registered charity with the same aims. CEC has been dissolved and CCS does not have registered charity status.
The CCS website will publish similar materials to the CEC website in the past, including monthly updates on China, the Catholic Church in China, the Christian Churches, other religions of China and the Teaching in China programme of the Columban Missionaries.
It will also seek support for worthy projects in China which facilitate the resurrection of the Catholic Church there and its mission to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.
