Dalgan marks World Labyrinth Day

May 12, 2018

On Saturday 5th May, people across the world gathered at 1pm local time to celebrate World Labyrinth Day and to walk a labyrinth in their local area or community.

The event is organised annually at the beginning of May by The Labyrinth Society and is aimed at bringing communities together to walk in silence on the same day at the same hour.

This year the theme was ‘longing for peace in a world divided by conflict’.

At Dalgan Park, the home of the Columban missionaries in Ireland, a group of 20 people walked the newly constructed labyrinth, which was designed by Gerard Clarke.
