Fr Eamon Sheridan relates how many young men in Myitkyina (Myanmar) are called Columban or Patrick – a legacy of the Irish Columbans who worked there between 1936 and 1978. In 2017, Fr Eamon began working at the Rebirth Drug Rehabilitation Centre in Myitkyina. Patrick is one of those who found sobriety from his addiction at the centre and Fr Eamon recently baptised his son.
