The grounds of Dalgan Park are currently open to the public between 9am and 8pm daily. (Summertime hours).
Situated three miles south of Navan on five acres of parklands and woods, Dalgan Park is the home of the Missionary Society of St Columban in Ireland.
The Columban Fathers built the college at Dalgan in 1938.
Dalgan houses the administration of the Columban Missionaries in Ireland, a missionary centre and exhibition, and the ‘Far East’ magazine.
It is home to many Columban Missionaries who have returned to Ireland to retire. Some are sick and require Nursing Home care, others seek rest after their labours on the missions.
The public are welcome to walk the grounds of Dalgan and enjoy its natural beauty – a wonderful place to reflect and take time out.
