Join the Columban Way Pilgrimage in Britain

May 24, 2023

Columban Missionaries in Britain are celebrating Laudato Si’ Week by following in the footsteps of St Columban and reflecting on ‘the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor’.

A pilgrim group of ordained and lay Columban missionaries and co-workers, led by Regional Director, Fr John Boles, are walking from Padstow to Fowey in Cornwall from 24-27 May 2023.

Drawing inspiration from St Columban, our patron, who embarked on his missionary journey to Europe more than 1400 years ago, they will call to mind as they walk the people and places served by Columban Missionaries today around the world, who are crying out for peace and justice, and ask what positive action we can take to bring about a fairer world.

The pilgrimage is taking place In partnership with St Mary’s parish and primary school in Bodmin and diocesan representatives from CAFOD, Caritas and the Youth Ministry.

A live-streamed Mass will take place on Thursday 25th May 2023 at 6pm and all are welcome!
