Columban missionary Fr Charles Rue has written this year’s Lenten resource.
He brings together his ecological expertise and knowledge of prayer and liturgy to give us a Stations of the Cross that is up-to-date and deeply prayerful.
He has listened to the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. By using this resource, we can all benefit as we follow Jesus on His journey to death and resurrection.
Pray the Stations of the Cross by connecting the devotion with ideas from Pope Francis’s encyclical letter on care for our common home – ‘Laudato Si’. The resource takes the complex issues around coal mining as a focus.
