Irish soccer legend Paul McGrath will launch ‘The Columban Way’ this weekend at the Columban Cairn, at the Nine Stones Viewing Point on the Blackstairs Mountain.
Bishop Denis Nulty of Kildare & Leighlin will bless and lead the walk from the Cairn down into Myshall village on Saturday 19th February at 1pm.
This is a significant milestone for the pilgrim journey known as the Via Columbani which winds its way across nine countries in Europe.
The Irish route known as – ‘A Pilgrim journey of Discovery’ – retraces the journey of St Columbanus from Mount Leinster to Bangor.
It is an invitation to walk the talk and discover the path of life wherever you are at in this moment in time.
