Two Columban seminarians, Kyaw Zaw and Francis Xavier Nbwi La Aung, recently renewed their temporary membership of the Missionary Society of St Columban.
This is their final temporary renewal before they hopefully will make their permanent oath on ordination next year.
It was the first time that anyone has taken the oath of membership in Myanmar. We congratulate both of these young Columban missionaries!
That celebration was followed by a great day for Myitkyina as three new priests were ordained and the beautiful new altar and renovated St Columban’s Cathedral was blessed.
Congratulations to Wajau Andrew labang Lawt Naw (Amico Lawt), Wajau Joseph Soe Yan Awng, and Wajau John Npawp Byin Tu Awng Tu Tu Nhkum.
Congratulations also to Wajau La Raw John for the beautiful renovation of the Cathedral.
