As a member of AMRI (the Association of Missionaries and Religious of Ireland) the Columbans are permitted to visit a specific diocese each year to raise awareness of their mission work and the commitment to mission.
This is a chance to connect with supporters, family and friends in whatever diocese we are assigned and tell them about our missionary work.
The Columban mission team visits parishes at weekends. They speak at masses and invite people to subscribe to the Far East magazine or to give a donation to support our mission work. We also take the opportunity to thank our supporters and benefactors for their generosity and prayers.
